I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The location is superb, just a short walk from both the city center and the train station. The rooms were cozy, the service was exceptional, and the overall convenience and value made my stay enjoyable. However, the breakfast could use some improvement, lacking variety in options and the view from the dining area wasn't the best.

Thanks to Jose for helping us when we had an issue with our room. The rooms were comfortable with good temperature control and a nice size. The swimming pool and steam room were a nice addition.

The staff, particularly those downstairs were very friendly and helpful, especially for someone unfamiliar with Reading. They were fantastic and a real credit to the hotel.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were basic for the price I paid, and I had an unexpected encounter with a half-eaten pigeon outside my window. While the room was warm and stuffy, it did have a queen bed and a sofa bed for my son, but the separate toilet without a hand basin was a bit inconvenient.
